Description: This farmhouse was named for Jacobus Lefferts (1717-1802), whose family lived in Flatbush on a plot of land opposite the Dutch Reformed Church. The house was later known as the Zabriskie homestead, after John Zabriskie, who acquired the house by marrying into the Lefferts family.
