This indenture recorded an exchange in which Isaac Lefferts paid Hendrick Lefferts $1500 for an area of land in Gowanus called "The Hook." The property included a grist mill and a mill pond. Hendrick and Isaac Lefferts were siblings who lived in the town of Jamaica, Queens County.
